Donald Trump is a master at making people reveal who they are. He pushes them to the brink and forces their true colors. This is why many professional politicians hate him. Trump removes the masks in which they have cloaked themselves their entire lives. From “Low Energy” Jeb, to “Little” Marco, to “Lyin” Ted, each had a melt-down under the spotlight of Trump.

In recent weeks, Trump caught his biggest fish, with the collapse of “Crooked” Hillary. I believe many of her medical issues are due to his daily barrage of tweets, rallies, and press conferences against her. When you have spent a lifetime gaming the system as the Clintons have, the pressure of Trump’s daily assaults would be overwhelming. Trump has no boundaries because he did not come from the political establishment. Members from both parties protected the Clintons for years, in fear their sins would be revealed. Trump has nothing to lose. In less than a week, Hillary will be alone on with Trump in front of an audience larger than the Super Bowl. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. No one to save her. Under the immense pressure, she succumbed.

This week, Trump reeled in another catch. This time from the other dynasty that has helped drag America into the gutter: The Bushes. Former President George H.W. Bush announced he would vote for Mrs. Clinton. If there were ever two families who totally deserve each other, it would be the Bushes and the Clintons. The two have spent the past 30 years using the system for self-enhancement at the expense of the country. They have tens of thousands of lives and trillions of dollars on their hands.

Bush’s endorsement of Clinton is another moment where Trump revealed the true colors of the powerful. How could any Republican vote for Hillary? She is perhaps the most corrupt and underhanded person ever to seek the presidency. A vote for her is not a protest vote against Trump. Gary Johnson exists for that. I have zero problems with anyone vehemently against Trump or Clinton doing so.

But a vote for Hillary is a vote for everything she stands for. The person doing so wants her to win. And at the heart, that is who the Bushes are. They care far more about protection of their power and the corrupt system they helped create than the lives of the people they were elected to serve.

George H.W. Bush was a subpar president and an even worse candidate. The economy tanked under his watch, and he lied about taxes. He got it handed to him by Clinton, and would have ultimately fallen to Perot, had the Texas billionaire not left in the middle of the race. The majority of people wanted him gone then, and for good reason. A decade later, the apple did not fall far from the tree. His son racked up the national debt, thrust us into an ill-begotten war to score revenge for his father, and oversaw the largest financial crisis since the Great Depression. Oh, and lest I forget, squandered total Republican control of the government.

The Bushes and Clintons are families cut from the same cloth. The country would be markedly improved if neither were allowed to make any more decisions regarding public policy. The fact that Bush is voting for Hillary is not surprising. Like so many before, his hatred for Trump has forced him to pull off the mask and show us who he is. His brief moment of honesty has further enforced I am doing the right thing by voting for Trump.
